Announcing the grand opening of Park Cities Chess in Preston Center in North Dallas. Private and group lessons by Grandmaster Babakuli Annakov (September 2009 USCF rating of 2485; highest rating was 2619 in 2000). Hours are 9:00 am until 6:00 pm.

Beginner lessons and students under 6 years old – 30 minutes: $40

Intermediate and Advanced lessons – $75 per hour

Group lessons (minimum 3 students) - $25 per hour per student

GM Annakov attended the prestigious Olympic Reserve School in Moscow and graduated from the Russian State Academy of Physical Culture and Sport in Moscow in 1994. GM Annakov won the following events: 2003 World Open (co-winner), 2001, 2002, and 2003 Texas State, 2001 and 2002 Southwest Open and 2004 Texas Masters Tournament. He also qualified for and played in many international events like the World Olympiad (2 times) and the World Youth Championship.

GM Annakov’s students include four National Masters who began lessons with him as beginners. His students have represented the United States in the World Youth championship the last six years in a row. GM Annakov has been the chess coach for St. Mark’s School of Texas (5th year), Hockaday (5th year) and All Saints Episcopal School (Ft. Worth) (4th year).
